Crazy Couple of Weeks

 Hello Friends and Family!

Only 23 days till our wedding...AND only 10 days till Leslie and Heath's wedding :) This is going to be a crazy and fun couple of weeks. This weekend is my Bachelorette party. I have decided to go to wine country for some relaxation, Fredericksburg, TX.  Much different then Stuart's Bachelor party in Vegas..haha!!!  We are going to all hang out Friday and hopefully go to my favorite Biergarten, Auslander then Saturday its off for a wine tasting tour with the ladies. I am so excited because a lot of the girls have never been to Texas "wine country". They are just going to love it. I will post pictures next week.

Fredericksburg, TX

As most of you heard the past two weeks have been pretty hard for Stuart and I. Two weeks ago Stuart and I came home from dinner and found our dog Koozie throwing up straight blood. We had to rush her to the Emergency 24hr Pet Hospital. She was so limp and did not want to move...not like her AT ALL!  They immediately hooked her up to IV's and put her on some antibiotics. They determined that she had pancreatitis :( She was in the hospital for 2 1/2 days and then we finally got her home. I have been making her homemade food which actually looks very tasty. If anyone is interested in making their dog food, I have a great recipe.

Then...I started feeling bad Wednesday night. I have very sharp abdominal and chest pains and could not sleep. I went ahead and traveled out of town for work and only started feeling worse as the day went on. I thought I just had really bad heartburn or an ulcer so did not really act on it. Then Friday I was on my way to my friend Julia's wedding and the pain got so bad that I called my doctors and they said I needed to go to the ER immediately. I called Julia and pulled over in Cypress to get checked out. At first they were certain that I had gallstones but then news came in the Morning that I did not have them. However, the pain and symptoms were getting worse. They called me back in for test and found that I had a gastro bacteria called H-Pylori which is very similar to the symptoms of gallstones...AND to make matters even worse I had the Flu as well. Unfortunately, I had to miss Julia's wedding, no one wants to give the bride H-Pylori and the Flu.  That was  personally VERY VERY hard on me. I am still kicking myself for missing her and Mike's big day. She was a beautiful bride though and is now enjoying a relaxing week on her honeymoon :) As for me, I am STILL in bed. I had to cancel my sales blitz in California this week so that I could rest up. I knew that these next few weeks would be really jam packed and I could not afford to wear myself down anymore.

As for today...I am eventually going to get out of bed -ha!  Stuart and I are going to pick out our wedding bands tomorrow and go over all of the last minute details for the wedding. We are both getting so excited and cannot believe that it is so close.

Lots of Love,
Kendra
